Just recently, I took a significant step forward in making my dream a reality: I obtained my business license! It may seem like a small piece of paper to some, but to me, it represents so much more. It’s the first official validation that my vision for a cozy bookshop and bar is moving from mere daydreams to tangible reality. With every twist and turn, this journey has been a mixture of excitement and nervous anticipation.
Right now, I’m in the early stages of getting everything in place. I haven’t secured a location yet, but I’m actively searching for the perfect spot that will embody the warm, inviting atmosphere I envision. A place where readers can immerse themselves in great stories while enjoying thoughtfully crafted cocktails and mocktails.
I want this blog to serve as a window into the behind-the-scenes work that goes into launching a business. From navigating local regulations to finding the right suppliers, and of course, searching for the ideal location, there’s so much to do. I’ll be sharing my experiences, lessons learned, and maybe even a few hiccups along the way—because let’s be real, entrepreneurship is rarely a straight path!
I’m also excited to share what inspires me, from the books I love to the cocktails I can’t wait to serve.
